Remove Nail Polish off Carpet

Remove the nail polish of the carpet might not as hard as you think. If you accidentally drop the nail polish on your white carpet, don't panic. Or even your children get a hold to your nail polish bag and decide to polish your carpet, still don't panic. Send him or her for timeout while you cleaning this stain.

1. If the stain still fresh, pour some nail polish remover on towel or paper towel and try to absorb the color as much as you can. We try both acetone and non acetone, they are not really make any different for us. But if the stain or ready dry, use old spoon to scrape off the hard stain off before apply the nail polish remover.

2. Apply OxiClean powder or the liquid solution on the carpet and use the scrub brush the clean off the color. If you have steam cleaning machine you can also use that after scrub the carpet, if not simply absorb all water with paper towel.

3. After it dry if the stain not come off 100%, apply Resolve to the stain area and absorb them off with paper towel

Now it's time to have a talk with your children that nail polish is actually for  nail only.
