Maintain a Vacuum Cleaner

The vacuum cleaner doesn't need a lot of attention, but a little simple maintenance will keep it running and cleaning the best of it capability.

1. Empty the dust container after every cleaning. After every 2-3 cleaning you can do complete clean the container by wash, rinse and let it air dry before you attach it back to the vacuum.

2. Clean the brush row, aka beater bar. Especially if you have long hair, more than likely hair will wrap tight around the row. If there are a lot of hair, the brush will not be able to catch the dirt that on the carpet (check the bottom of your vacuum and you will see what exactly, I'm talking about.)

It's a lot easier if unattached the row and cut out all the hair. Check you manual book, most of the vacuum you could just pop out the cover and remove the row. When you put the row back, make sure you put the belt the right way. If you put the belt wrong it will burnt and can leave the melted plastic on your carpet.

3. Change the filter every so often. Remember keep it white or light gray. Clean air filters are important for air movement on bagless vacuum; even a modestly dirty filter can cut a vacuum cleaner’s suction in half.

Cleaning Shower Stall

Thinking about cleaning shower stall or bathtub, always make me think about spray those strong chemical and let it sit to do it work, I just go back in and rinse it out afterward. I did that all the time until one day after finished cleaning the bathroom and i feel dizzy and nausea, I feel like that strong bleach scent shoot straight through my brain. The symptom continue for an hours.

I kept thinking is it because i'm getting older or maybe it's time for me to start taking care of myself considering using non toxic product or green solution. At first, I use the green solution that in the market. Until I come across the home make all purpose cleaner that easily made from ingredient that i already have in my kitchen. I LOVE it, the shower stall are clean and I don't have to fight with the bleach smell. I encourage you to try it yourself this weekend!

Complete Bathroom Cleaning

It's a good idea to do complete cleaning of bathroom every week. The longer you wait, the harder it will take to clean. If you do it often enough you can opt for the green cleaning solutions.

Let start..........

First of all, remove area rugs and all dirty towel. Before start dusting, spray toilet bowl cleaner in the toilet and the all purpose cleaning in the bathtub to make chemical do it own work Now let's get back to dusting, the logic way of cleaning is start from the top to the bottom to avoid the dust  fall on items that you already clean. Dust cobweb in the corner, top of medicine cabinet, light figure, air vent, wall decors, wood works, on top and behind the toilet.

Next step is to wipe down mirror and all surfaces of the sink, faucet and counter. Wipe all items including underneath of them. Wipe towel rag, toilet paper holder, light switch and out side of the cabinets. Wipe all wood works- door molding, door frame and baseboard.

Time for bathtub cleaning, use the brush or Dobie to clean out the wall, grout or corners and the tub surface. Some area might need bleach to help get the tough stain and mildew out. Rinse out all the chemical and clean the faucet and shower head, you might need the toothbrush to clean around the shower faucet and handle. Don't forget to change out the shower curtain. To leave nice clean looks, Thai Cleaning Service will dry all surfaces after cleaning.

Toilet, the most dirtiest thing in the bathroom. Start cleaning from the top and work you way down to the bottom. So toilet tank should be the first item that you should take care of. Follow by the lid, the seat, the rim and the bowl.. Not only inside the bowl that need to be clean, outside of the bowl is also important especially behind the toilet. Some people only clean behind the toilet right before the plummer arrive.

Last step is to take out the trash and vacuum and mop the floor. Vacuum the area rug and put them back after the floor is complete dry.

How to Clean Stove Top Electric Coil Burners

Cleaning the stove is as important as cooking. If you left the stove messy and dirty, you tent to send invitation to your old friend, Rodents. Cleaning stove top might be much easier than you thought.

First make sure electric coils cool down before starting the process. Remove all coils, plates and knobs

Soak the knob in the soapy water, if the they are really greasy and sticky you might need to add degreaser solution.

Do not soak the plates and coils in water, use the aluminum tin foil to clean them out. Yes! Aluminum tin foil. Make a ball and scrub the dry surface. All food and stain that burnt on the surface will come out easily.

Cleaning the stove top surface, simply use the a little bit of dish soap with damp towel and wipe out the soap after finish. For the hard stain or the food that hard to come out, always use Dobie (not the green scrub pad) to clean them out.

After everything clean out, now just put all parts together and get back to your cooking ;-)

Cleaning Kitchen Sink

Cleaning Kitchen Sink

Cleaning Kitchen sink not as hard as you thought, all you need are Bully cream cleanser and Dobie pad. Unlike the green scrub pad, Dobie pad will not starch your sink. After clean and rinse, use a paper towel to dry to whole sink to add the shinny look. Adding the stainless steal cleaner is not necessary unless you clean the house to put it on the market. The polish from the stainless steal cleaner will make the sink greasy when it wet.

But if the stain or ready dry, use old spoon to scrape off the hard stain off before apply the nail polish remover.

2. Apply OxiClean powder or the liquid solution on the carpet and use the scrub brush the clean off the color. If you have steam cleaning machine you can also use that after scrub the carpet, if not simply absorb all water with paper towel.

It's not easy to keep the house clean and organize at all the time, especially when you have have small children. Some chores need to be done everyday, for example the kitchen and dining room should be clean everyday to keep rodent and bugs away from your house. Some of them only need done once a week or once a month. Cleaning baseboard, you don't need to continue doing that everyday unless you really wanted too. Dusting them every week or every two week would be good enough. But if you ignore them for a long length of time, don't be surprise if the next cleaning you need to use a wet rag to scrub those dirt and dust.

Thai cleaning service, create a check list of how often each cleaning have to be done.

By following the list, you don't need to schedule the deep cleaning day or spring cleaning at all because the house will always sparkling.

Cleaning everything on this list seems like it's a lot, it's a good idea to assign chores fairly to each family member. Some of the chores, small children might be able to help for example sort the laundry- that you be the time that you and your child can create the bonding and let them learn to take responsibility.
